New Linkin Park Single

What I've Done
Linkin Park

In this farewell,
There is no blood,
There is no alibi,
Cause I’ve drawn regret,
From the truth,
Of a thousands lies,
So let mercy come and wash away…

What I’ve Done,
I’ll face myself,
To cross out what I’ve become,
Erase myself,
And let go of what I’ve done…

Put to rest,
What you thought of me
While, I clean this slate,
With the hands,
Of uncertainty,
So let mercy come,
And wash away…

What I’ve Done,
I’ll face myself,
To cross out what I’ve become,
Erase myself,
And let go of what I’ve done…

For what I’ve done,
I start again,
And whatever pain may come,
Today this ends,
I’m forgiving what I’ve done…

I’ll face myself,
To cross out what I’ve become,
Erase myself,
And let go of what I’ve done…

(Na,Na,Na) [Mike Shinoda!]
What I’ve Done,
What I’ve Done,
Forgiving what I’ve done…

LP's new single really sounds different from their previous songs and it was actually kinda refreshing. I'm not sure though if most of the songs in their new album, Minutes to Midnight, will sound like this. But I'm sure that they will still have those rap-rock type of songs to stay true to their roots. Sure, most hardcore LP fans out there may not like their new single, but hey, if you're really a true hardcore fan, you'd appreciate this new style because it shows that they're true artists by being creative with the music they make. It shows that LP is evolving and "growing". Plus, they have a new logo too!
