HAPPY BDAY JESUS!!! MERRY XMAS TO ALL!!!

I love Xmas. It's the one day of the year that I'm always happy no matter what. Yes, always. I don't why but I always have a joyful feeling on Xmas day even though shit is happenning all around me, and even that one time that I spent my Xmas in Singapore without my family(but ofcourse it would have been much, much better if I was with them). Perhaps all the good experiences on Xmas day when I was a child still has an effect until this day, or maybe it's bcoz of my attitude of not wanting to miss out on special days like this, I really don't know. Whatever the reason is, I'm just thankful that I have this oppurtunity to celebrate Christmas and to be happy at least once a year.

I also express my gratitude towards the Spaniards that made us, Filipinos, Christians. Amidst all the crap and shit that Filipinos experience every year, there's this one day where we can forget about all the negative stuff and just celebrate the birth of Christ. The celebration here is not, in any way, superficial, like that of other countries where it is only celebrated in malls and tourist spots. The true spirit of Xmas is more evident especially now bcoz more Filipinos are financially struggling and you see less houses with Christmas decorations, less gifts from godparents, etc. But whatever the situation is, there are still things that will not be missing from Xmas celebrations here, and those are beers and pulutan, and I'm not kidding haha. Cheers to all!

fuck lab

fuck lab.fuck project lab! what the hell do I have to do to get an A for this worthless and pathetic module. I was sure that with the project lab formal report, I'd surely get an A this time but fuck, it still wasn't enough. It certainly wasn't the individual assessment from the other 2 project modules coz I'm sure that I impressed the heck out of the lab tutors. I did the bonus problems, hell I even did something that the even the lab tutor didn't know how to do! So what the fuck was it?! Do I have to be a Hermione Granger that raises my hand even if the tutor is not asking for any question, what a suck up! I don't think they'd allow me to ask for a review of the lab grades and doing that is just pathetic. I'm really pissed off. And what the hell's with the + and - of the grades, I thought the new grading system would only be implemented for the incoming students. So there's no DI anymore?? Even though A+ is equivalent to DI, it's still not the same. Distinction sounds much much better than A+, dammit. Thank goodness my barkada went online right after checking my grades. Our wacky conference chat certainly made it easier for me to accept the freakin exam results.This is the worst exam results, ever.

While watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire today for the 2nd time(1st one was in Singapore) I experienced a very weird phenomenon..the audience here in my hometown weren't laughing at the same jokes in the movie that the audience back in Singapore were laughing at. It.was.just.so.freakin.weird. Maybe this is just normal but it still is strange for me bcoz this was the first time I watched the same movie twice and getting different reactions from the audience. If I remember correctly, i didn't hear any laughs from anyone(maybe one or two ppl) during the first half of the movie(what the heck???).

On the way home, i thought of 3 reasons for the audience not to laugh at the jokes

1) maybe they were not paying attention during the first half bcoz they were trying to remember the characters and the storyline of the 4th HP book(and the Singaporeans were not?),

2) The acoustics of the cinema was not that good and they didn't exactly have Dolby Surround Sound so the audience cannot comprehend what the characters were saying, hence they cannot appreciate the jokes,

OR

3) most of the jokes were just,simply corny(probably the most logical reason).

This last reason was the one given to me by my cousins when I asked them why they were not laughing. I think there's more to this..but in the spirit of Christmas, this entry has to stop here to prevent myself from making any discriminatory comments.peace.

Have you ever moved on with life, but everything else in your life is still somewhere else...

and you can't really move on coz u don't want to let go...

so your stuck in that limbo-esque place for a freakin long time until something pulls you out of it and helps you to truly move on...

but as you are halfway thru with your new life, everything changes again and the whole cycle just repeats...

it's one of d shittiest thing that can ever happen to anyone...

and the worst thing is you can't do anything to make it stop simply coz that's how life works...

But while watching the Ali G show(tawa nmn jan, ang seryoso ng mukha mo e =P), you realize that maybe you don't need to let go in order to move on...

* new celfone(clamshell or sliding type), or a pda(maluho k!)

* lebron zoom III, lebron cavaliers jersey(consider this as an investment coz it's value would increase tenfold after 5 yrs when Lebron starts making winning shots every game and his team would go on to win 6 or more back-to-back world championships)

* an iBook G4(everybody loves Apple, it's just compatibility issues that stops it from dominating the PC market =P)

* electronic drums

* Sony PS3!!!(altho it's not out yet..actually i juz wanna hold the game controller coz it looks so damn sleek, coolness at its best)

* Alienware Desktop Computer(this is really an out of this world PC product,check it out)

* new yonex badminton racket(wish nike made high-quality badminton rackets)

* nike dumbbells(IT HAS TO BE NIKE, wouldn't settle for anything else hehe)

* basketball half-court here at my own backyard(with fiber glass backboard and metal chain net..oh and wid a nike swoosh painted on the court)

* and of course, world peace, lol =P
